Spa Etiquette For You & Your Guests
One of the great things about owning a spa is sharing the experience
with others.
Here, we offer some no-nonsense tips about using
your spa with family and friends.
Safety First
Know that the safety of all users of the spa is your
responsibility. Make sure all guests are aware of your spa rules.
Make It Comfortable
Provide a changing room and bathroom with toilet and
shower. Put a sign in the bathroom reminding guests to shower before
entering the spa. Provide a dry place to hang towels and clothing.
Robes, mirrors and a hair dryer add an extra special touch of comfort
and convenience for you and your guests.
Dress or Undress Code
What to wear or what not to wear; it’s really up to you. You would
probably agree that it doesn’t make sense to wear any other clothing
than a bathing suit in your spa; however, some soakers like to wear
nothing at all. What is appropriate? You decide. It’s all about
making you and your guests feel comfortable about the spa experience
at your home. If your lifestyle includes an “undressed” spa
soak, just be sure that any spa guests are advised before they visit – and
keep a towel or robe in close reach for those surprise visitors!
Pets and Your Spa
Pets and other animals are very bad for spa sanitation.
They bear all kinds of oils, bacteria, hair and dirt. Obviously, this
is not good for human spa soakers. In a nutshell, keep Fido and Fluffy
out of the spa!
