AVERAGE DEPTH
Depth of the Deep End + Depth of the Shallow End Divided by 2.
Example:
Formula for figuring Average Depth

RECTANGULAR POOLS
Length x Width x Average Depth x 7.5 = Total Gallons
Example:
How to calculate the total gallons in a rectangular pool

CIRCULAR POOLS
Diameter x Diameter x Average Depth x 5.9 = Total Gallons
Example:
How to calculate the total gallons in a circular pool

OVAL POOL
Long Diameter x Short Diameter x Average Depth x 5.9 = Total Gallons
Example:
How to calculate the total gallons in an oval pool

IRREGULAR POOLS
Estimate section dimensions equivalent to rectangular, oval or circular pool. Calculate per formulas above.
