Pool season is almost upon us. Are you ready? Here is a quick list of helpful start up tips:

1. Remove all debris and bring water up to the proper level (above the skimmer).
2. Clean the filter and shock the water with a chlorine shock to remove contaminants.
3. Balance the water for pH, total alkalinity, stabilizer, and calcium hardness.
4. Take a water sample to your professional dealer and follow their directions to ensure you start out on the right foot.
5. If using POOL FROG, insert your new Mineral Reservoir, dispense FROG BAM through the POOL FROG in 90 minutes, and then add a FROG Bac Pac and set the dial to maintain at least a 0.5 ppm chlorine level.
