Sales Director
Job Summary:
Directs sales functions of all USA dealers, distributors, pool OEMs
and manufacturers’ representatives for King Technology's (KTI’s)
pool and spa sales. Works through others to achieve corporate goals
and objectives. Travel required; at certain times of the year, travel
can be as much as 80%-90%. Assumes responsibility for handling all
internal and external information in a highly confidential manner.
Supervises National Key Accounts Managers.
Essential Functions:
- Develops and implements an annual sales plan for all pool and
spa products to meet or exceed forecast in accordance with organization’s
financial requirements.
- Develops a long-range pool and spa sales plan focused
on future sales beyond current sales year and forecast.
- Actively manages a national distribution network and
buying groups for all KTI pool and spa products.
- Works directly with and through manufacturers’ representatives
and National Key Accounts Managers to set up new distributors
and dealers where appropriate and motivates existing
ones to increase sales of KTI products.
- Establishes business and working relationships with
key new and existing builders, dealers and retailers
to promote the use
of KTI products.
- Maintains existing relationships and sales volume
as well as increases business with key target accounts.
This includes being involved in the setting of
prices, developing sales and marketing
programs and making sure KTI is professionally
and properly represented at sales school training meetings
and other customer events or meetings.
- Develops programs as needed to increase customer
participation or secure special new accounts.
- Provides guidance to marketing as to the wants
and needs of the marketplace. This includes
new product ideas or iterations to existing products,
competitive information, products
or programs
in the marketplace.
- Works with marketing department to develop
and implement early buys, pricing for distributors
and dealer direct accounts.
- Prepares and presents on a weekly basis a
30-, 60- and 90-day plan for the CEO and
COO, including account objectives, executive
summaries of customer plan, growth objectives,
etc.
- Manages and directs activities of the National
Key Accounts Managers.
- Hires and trains new sales personnel.
- Prepares and manages department budget.
- Works with sales team to develop annual
and monthly sales forecasts, and
works to successfully achieve forecasted
sales.
- Manages independent sales representatives
across the United States and
Canada. This includes making recommendations
to COO on hiring, firing of reps
not performing to
expectations, making
sure reps are properly trained
in the field
and
at sales meetings, setting sales
goals and guiding them to establish, maintain
and increase KTI business with
all types of accounts.
- Works with marketing and sales
teams to develop and execute
national sales meetings for sales
representatives.
- Provides monthly feedback as
to the market affects on
unit forecast: increases, decreases,
or market shifts to different product
mixes.
- Prepares and presents monthly
sales reports for all pool
and spa products at monthly
executive sales forecast
review meetings.
- Attends as necessary product
development meetings
- Participates in Strategic
Planning meetings as
required.
Essential Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university.
- Minimum of ten
(10) years of field sales and sales planning experience.
- Minimum of three (3) years of sales supervisory experience.
- Strong interpersonal and persuasive skills, both
written and oral.
- Ability to work through others to achieve corporate
goals and objectives.
- Ability to travel nights and weekends and,
at certain times of the year, travel can
be as much as 80%
to 90%.
- Ability to problem solve and communicate
solutions.
- Computer skills using MS, internet, sales
support software and laptop computer.
- Power point presentation skills.
- Public speaking skills.

Marketing Director
Job Summary:
Marketing Director is responsible to promote the company’s
products and services by working closely with marketing department
to drive the programs, displays, shows that excite the customers
of the company to meet their business goals. Responsible for estimating
the demand for the corporation’s products and services and
discovering new market segments that would be interested in buying
from the company. Develop a strategy for product pricing based on
the market demand and similar products offered by competitors. Keep
an eye on trends that indicate a need for emerging products and services
and oversee new product development.
Essential Functions:
- Designing, implementing, and facilitating annual marketing strategies
for the organization.
- Supporting and facilitating development and execution
of marketing plans.
- Translating business department objectives and strategies
to prepare brand portfolio objective, plans, strategies
to facilitate the growth of business unit.
- Developing marketing strategy depending
on the knowledge of organizational policy, market nature,
royalty and copyright requirements, and markup
and cost factors.
- Planning and administering the marketing operations
budget of the organization.
- Negotiating with agents to secure correspondences
for translating materials into any other
media.
- Editing materials in accordance with specific
customer on market requirement.
- Developing promotional materials, which
include marketing print and collateral
copies.
- Assisting in strategic plans for client
demonstrations, presentations, displays,
etc.
- Working with VP of Marketing (or Independent

- Developing and administering marketing

- Supervising marketing department;
marketing manager, marketing
coordinator, marketing administrator and marketing
assistant.
- Making hiring and staffing decisions
within the marketing department.
- Building and developing marketing
team that is competent, dedicated,
commercially astute and efficient.
- Managing daily activities
with marketing and press
communication agencies.
- Developing and delivering
insightful strategies
and presentations to the executive committee
and other departments
where appropriate.
- Assist the department
to meet its objectives,
live the values and culture
and to practice company
policies.
Essential Job Qualifications:
- BS/BA in Marketing or related field.
- Minimum 8 years marketing experience at a small to
mid-size professional services organization.
- 2 years experience at director level or 5 years experience
at marketing manager.
- Experience with new media and internet advertising,
- Detailed-oriented with ability to oversee projects
from inception through execution.
- Self-starter, willingness to learn and should
be able to flourish in a high growth, dynamic,
entrepreneurial environment, with hands on
approach towards business.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional
teams without formal authority.
- Must be able to travel on occasion.
- Effective communication skills, both oral
and written.
